RUGBY WORLD CUP 2019

This was an Opening Title for Eirsport during the Rugby World Cup in 2019. I worked with Donovan Delaney to develop a sequence that introduced the audience to this huge event that happened in Japan. The main idea was exploring elements from Japan. I was responsible for the full execution of the temple and the rugby ball, as well as helping to bring life through lighting and animation.

The production involved the use of Cinema 4D as the main 3D software, but I also used Zbrush for modelling and texturing the Rugby ball. We used Octane as render engine and Adobe After effects for the final composition.

The animation also won a “Best Motion Design” award from IDI in 2019.
